A snapshot of the work I’ve contributed to

My work is rooted in economic resilience, nonprofit sustainability, and building systems that help communities recover, grow, and adapt. I’ve partnered with cities, counties, nonprofits, and founders to design and deliver programs that turn public investment into real, on-the-ground impact.

Economic development and regional strategy
I’ve worked closely with the City of Colorado Springs, El Paso County, and regional partners on small business recovery, workforce development, and entrepreneurial growth. My work has supported programs backed by more than $13 million in ARPA funding, reaching hundreds of organizations across urban, rural, veteran, and military-connected communities. This has included coordinating regional hiring events, supporting workforce initiatives, and participating in policy and cross-sector strategy conversations focused on long-term economic resilience.

Small business recovery and entrepreneurship
As a Small Business Development Center consultant and COVID-19 recovery contractor, I supported founders across creative industries, hospitality, retail, wellness, and professional services. I’ve advised on grants, loans, capital readiness, and growth strategy, facilitated workshops, and helped founders prepare for funding and pitch opportunities. During the pandemic, I helped coordinate one of the largest hiring events in the state, connecting employers and job seekers during a moment of acute economic disruption.

Nonprofit development and sustainability
I’ve advised executive directors and boards on donor engagement, development planning, messaging, and strategic growth. My work has supported nonprofits navigating funding shifts, program expansion, and organizational clarity—helping mission-driven organizations strengthen both impact and long-term sustainability.

Innovation, technology, and public-private collaboration
I’ve supported regional innovation organizations including the National Cybersecurity Center, Survive and Thrive, and Exponential Impact, working at the intersection of government, nonprofit, and private-sector collaboration. This has included advising early-stage founders, supporting inclusive grant-backed programming, and helping translate public funding into accessible tools, training, and capacity-building for small businesses.

Defense, national security, and economic ecosystems
My experience includes leading business development efforts connected to defense, aerospace, and national security, supporting work tied to more than $500 million in venture and private equity capital. In these roles, I focused on partnership development, ecosystem building, and aligning innovation with regional economic priorities.

Community programs, convenings, and place-based work
Across roles, I’ve helped design and deliver large-scale community programs, convenings, and public-facing initiatives—bringing together nonprofits, government, employers, and entrepreneurs to move ideas into action.

I am a strategist and community builder with decades of experience working across the full spectrum of economic development, early stage entrepreneurship, nonprofit sustainability, executive leadership, technology, hospitality, and capital formation. My career has taken me into the rooms where decisions are made and into the communities where real work happens. I grew up in Colorado Springs. I graduated from Colorado Springs Christian School and from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. I am raising two boys here, along with a very sweet cat who believes he runs the operation. This city is part of my DNA.

I have supported founders, nonprofits, restaurateurs, rural business owners, veteran entrepreneurs, creative communities, and cybersecurity leaders. I currently consult for the Nashville Entrepreneur Center and serve as a Small Business Development Center consultant, working with clients across industries and stages. I have sat on technology panels, judged pitch competitions, and helped leaders move from idea to implementation with clarity and confidence. My work blends private sector experience, public sector partnerships, and community focused strategy.

I have worked in many corners of the ecosystem because nearly every corner shapes the work of building something real. There is an old saying that a jack of all trades is a master of none but oftentimes better than a master of one. I believe that is true. My diversification is not a distraction. It is why my perspective is useful. I understand people, systems, obstacles, and opportunities from more than one vantage point.

My leadership style reflects who I am. I am an ENFJ and an Enneagram Four with a Three wing. I lead with empathy, clarity, and grounded strategy. I believe in honest conversations. I believe in sustainable progress. And I believe that clarity is one of the most generous things you can offer another person.

I created ARC and ALIGN because founders and nonprofit leaders deserve support that is practical and human and rooted in community. Not overwhelming. Not filled with jargon. Not performative. My work is built to help people move forward with clarity, connection, and a plan that makes sense in the real world.

If you are building something meaningful and you are tired of doing it alone, you are in the right place.
And if you are looking for a shortcut, I will not offer that.
I will only offer a path that is clear..
